Michigan Attorney General Selects Legal Files
Springfield, IL (PRWEB) January 15, 2006
The Michigan Department of Information Technology has awarded a contract to Legal Files Software Inc. to provide legal case management software to the Michigan Department of the Attorney General. More than 500 staff members of the Attorney General’s Office, in multiple locations throughout the state, will use the software to monitor, increase accessibility, and provide reports on the office’s work.
The office is one of the largest law firms in Michigan, and as such, needs software to manage its core mission of providing effective and efficient legal representation to the State of Michigan. This agreement with Legal Files will help achieve that mission, while providing a win for the taxpayers of Michigan and a good value for the state.
Legal Files software will provide the Department of the Attorney General with the ability to manage scheduling, litigation, opinions, correspondence, transactions, assignments and documents. In conjunction with licensing the software to the Attorney General, Legal Files Software, Inc. will also provide data conversion, training, and project implementation.
With this contract award, the Michigan Department of the Attorney General joins a growing list of Legal Files government agency customers including the Arizona Attorney General, the Legal Services Branch of the Ministry of the Attorney General in British Columbia, and the Botswana Attorney General’s Office.
